Week 6 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Ryan Torain and Surprise Must Starts

Richard LangfordOct 12, 2011

There are some excellent options to slide into your starting lineup this week. Making the right lineup choices is especially crucial during bye week football. The following guys can help lead you to victory.

Washington Redskins RB Ryan Torain

Ryan Torain came out of nowhere in the Redskins' last game to lead their rushing attack with 19 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown.

Shanahan has never had any hesitation to go with the hot hand in the running game. And Torain is the hot hand. What is going to ensure him production this week is the fact that the Redskins will be going against a horrible Eagles' rush defense.

The Redskins will be running the ball often, and you can once again expect Torain to lead them in carries.

Cincinnati Bengals WR AJ Green

AJ Green's production has been up and down this season. Green is coming off a very solid game in which he had five catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.

This week, he will be facing a horrible Colts pass defense.

Football Outsiders ranks the Colts as 29th in defending teams' No. 1 receivers. Green is going to get his chances to produce, and Andy Dalton will be looking to him often in the red zone.

Oakland Raiders TE Kevin Boss

Kevin Boss' role with the Raiders alternates between being a primary blocker and a pass catcher. He is going to get his chances to be a pass catcher this week as the Raiders take on the Browns.

The Browns have a solid pass defense. They are fourth in the league in passing yards allowed per game; however, they have been failing at stopping tight ends.

Football Outsiders ranks the Browns as the 32nd team in the league at guarding opposing tight ends.
