Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 6: Harry Douglas and the 3 Must-Adds

Chris TrapassoOct 12, 2011

The Atlanta Falcons are in trouble at 2-3, and news has broke that rookie wideout Julio Jones won't play against the Carolina Panthers.

What does this mean for fantasy owners?

Add Harry Douglas, Jones' likely replacement in the Falcons offense.

Here are the three must adds for Week 6, starting with the new No. 2 wideout in Atlanta...

Harry Douglas

Douglas only has 11 catches on the year and has traditionally been used in the slot, but the Falcons love his YAC ability and should look to get him the ball often, especially on bubble screens and quick slants with Jones out.

I expect this game with the Panthers to be a shootout, so Matt Ryan will have to throw frequently.

You'd better believe the Panthers defensive game-plan is focused around stopping Roddy White and limiting Tony Gonzalez over the middle.

I don't think he'll have a huge game, but he should get a good deal of targets in this one.

Doug Baldwin

Yes, the Seahawks are on a bye in Week 6.

I don't care; grab Baldwin now.

The un-drafted free agent wideout from Stanford is turning heads in Seattle and already has three games of 80 or more receiving yards.

He is working great out of the slot and is producing even with Sidney Rice in the lineup. His 27 targets thus far trail Ben Obomanu by only one.

A great option, especially in PPR leagues.

Bengals DEF

Forgot the maturity we've seen from Andy Dalton and A.J. Green this season for a minute.

The Bengals defense has carried their team to consecutive victories and is allowing the least amount of yards in the league to date.

They face Curtis Painter and the Colts this week in Cincinnati—they should have no problem generating constant pressure and accumulating sacks.

Maybe they can add to their interception total, which is only one right now.

Add them.
