David Villa Link Resurfaces

 

 

 

Valencia held on to David Villa in the summer despite feeling the financial strain, but it seems this hasn’t done the club a lot of good and by the time January comes around, they might be forced to sell him after all. And rumour has it he could be released for quite a bit less than the £40million Chelsea didn’t fancy paying in the summer.

Naturally, with Chelsea linked to him during the summer, it’s only right the press should throw our name in the mix again now, particularly with Didier Drogba’s much-publicised itchy foot syndrome as prominent as ever.

But before anyone gets too excited, as expected, Man City are after the 26 year old striker as well. So, if money’s his god we might as well forget about him. Mind you, there’s always the chance he fancies playing Champions League football next season eh?
