NFL Power Rankings Week 6: Which 1-Win Team Is Most Likely to Turn It Around?
The upper crust of the NFL is packed with quality teams. The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are both 5-0, and there are a host of exciting one-loss teams like the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers.
And then there are those other teams. You know, the ones in the not-so-upper crust. The ones that are just plain bad.
A couple of these teams—the St. Louis Rams, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins—are still winless and will likely be doomed for the entirety of the season. The same is true of some of the one-win teams.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
However, maybe not all of them. In fact, there are three one-win teams I'm not ready to count out just yet.
Arizona Cardinals (No. 29)
Admittedly, there's not much about the Cardinals to get excited about. They are perfectly deserving of their 1-4 record.
This being said, I actually think things could be worse. There's no apologizing for Arizona's blowout loss in Minnesota in Week 5, but the three losses prior to that one were all very close. The Cardinals lost by margins of one, three and four points.
Had the Cardinals won just one of those games, they're within shouting distance of the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West. Had they won two of them, they're within striking distance of the 49ers.
If the Cardinals can start winning close games like these, maybe they can catch up.
Carolina Panthers (No. 23)
The Panthers are also 1-4, but we're all aware they've been in every game they've played this season. Three of the four teams they've played are good teams, and even they had trouble putting the Panthers away.
This has everything to do with Cam Newton. The dude's energy is relentless, and he makes everyone around him better. The only thing he hasn't proved he can do yet is win.
If he keeps playing like he he has, the wins are going to come. I don't think the Panthers are as bad as their record indicates, and they might just sneak up on the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South if they can get hot.
Philadelphia Eagles (No. 25)
You didn't think I was going to leave the Eagles off this list, did you?
Honestly, I wanted to. I'm sick of making excuses for them, and I'm even sicker of talking about them. Bad teams like them do not deserve so much press.
However, talented teams do. And for all their problems, the Eagles still have plenty of talent. If they can figure out how the properly use the talented players they have on defense, and Michael Vick and friends can hold on to the ball on offense, the Eagles are going to level things out a little.
Lucky for them, the NFC East is a winnable division. None of the three teams ahead of the Eagles seems to be particularly superior, and that will work in the their favor if they can become the superior team that they were supposed to be.
