Steve Young Video: 49ers Great Gets Flash Mob for His 50th Birthday

What do you get when you're Steve Young and it's your 50th birthday?

Why, a flash mob from Flash Mob America, of course.

On Tuesday, the former San Francisco 49ers great was having a nice, quiet lunch outside with his family when a fan walked up and asked for his autograph. Just another ho-hum day for one of the most popular 49ers of all time.

But when she started dancing and music started playing, Young could have never imagined what he was in for.

All of a sudden, a whole throng of cheerleaders and bystanders filled the area and began a flash mob to "Boogie Wonderland," with a stunned Young looking on.

At first, good ol' Steve looked a little confused, maybe even a little frightened. But it soon become clear that this event was organized for him by his wife, Barb, and he was able to watch in amusement with his two daughters as he was treated to a full-on dance party.

Young was smiling by the end of it all and clearly was appreciative of the gesture. If he didn't know what a flash mob was before, he does now.

After the orchestration, the whole place roared with excitement and Barb led them in a singing of the traditional "Happy Birthday" to make his day even more complete (after all, who doesn't want a flash mob for their birthday, right?).

Young wasn't caught by surprise too much in his playing days while throwing to Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens, but there was no way he could have game planned for this.

You would have thought he just won the Super Bowl again after the parade he got on Tuesday.
