TUF 14 Finale: Michael Bisping vs. Mayhem Miller, Early Head-to-Toe Breakdown

Tim McTiernanOct 11, 2011

On December 3, The Ultimate Fighter coaches will square off as Jason "Mayhem" Miller will face off against Michael Bisping in a five round, non-title fight.

These two are currently coaching on season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, the first season featuring featherweights and bantamweights.

Many fans are torn on who will win this one and it really is a toss up.

Read on to check out an early breakdown of their fight.

Striking

1 of 7

This one isn't much of a challenge to call, as Bisping is known for his striking, whereas Mayhem is not.

Bisping has 13 of his 21 career wins coming by way of knockout or TKO, and Mayhem only has six out of 24 wins by KO.

Wrestling

2 of 7

Again, another easy one to call.

Mayhem is known for his ground game, and he utilizes it very well.

Aside from Bisping not being known for wrestling, British fighters also seem to be deficient in wrestling.

I believe this picture speaks for itself.

Enjoy Vince.

Jits

If Mayhem is going to win this fight, it will be through his submission game.

Bisping has four submissions on his record, three due to submission holds, and Mayhem has 14 submissions.

Pretty clear advantage there.

Cardio

5 of 7

This one couldn't be called one way or the other.

Neither fighter has ever looked gassed at all during their careers.

Mayhem may have a slight edge here, having gone five rounds before, but one can't be sure.

Edge: Push

Experience

6 of 7

This is your classic striker vs. grappler matchup, but I think the experience will be what decides the fight.

Mayhem has been fighting since 2001, Bisping has been fighting since 2004.

Mayhem has 32 professional MMA fights, Bisping has 24.

Mayhem has gone five rounds before, Bisping has not.

Edge: Mayhem Miller

Winner

7 of 7

I am going to give this one to Jason "Mayhem" Miller.

I'd expect this fight to be even and competitive through the first three rounds, but in Bisping's first foray into the deep waters, Mayhem will be able to submit him.

Bisping has fought submission guys before, but none of them are on the same level as Mayhem.

Jason "Mayhem" Miller wins by fourth round rear-naked choke.
