Hope Solo Dancing with the Stars: Foxtrot Will Have Solo Cruising in Week 4
Hope Solo has never been about doing just enough to get the job done. On Monday, that is exactly what we saw from her and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
The couple took to the stage on movie night, fitting considering the amount of star quality Hope Solo has gleaned in the last year.
The two danced the foxtrot, and Solo looked a shade better to me, and the judges. After the dance commemorating Toy Story characters Jessie and Woody, the couple received a stout 24, the best of the night at that point.
Tuesday brings the axe which has given us some surprises in the past few weeks. The biggest was last week's dismissal of Kristin Cavallari. It was clear that the voters have their favorites on the show, and Cavallari was not one of them.
Her dancing should have been enough to get her through to later rounds, but Dancing with the Stars is of course, a popularity contest as well.
It's a good thing for Solo that she has the dancing down, and happens to be one of the most highly publicized athletes of the year.
The beauty finally met the poise on Monday night as Solo added grace to her arsenal. The judges have high hopes for her. They would just like her to put as much work into dancing as she has into soccer.
Solo is not one to shy away from a challenge. If she gets through to next week, which she should, she is primed to deliver the best performance of the season.
The judges have called her out for supposed loafing. That will not sit well for the famed workaholic. We have only seen the beginning of what Solo can do.
