NFL Power Rankings: New York Giants and Sliding Teams That Will Keep Falling
In some respects, the NFL season took on more of a normal feel in Week 5. Sure, there were still some surprises out there, but Week 5 gave us a potentially strong indicator that some of the struggling favorites are back on track.
But there are plenty of teams that are going in the other direction, and that's what we're looking at here.
Regardless of expectations, they all lost in Week 5 and aren't heading in the right direction in Week 6.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
New York Giants
With all of the injuries they dealt with at the beginning of the season, not much was expected from the Giants.
Still, they found a way to start the season 3-1. But in that fourth game, we saw some signs of a potential struggle. The Giants were lucky to beat the lowly Cardinals in Week 4.
In Week 5, at home against a less than stellar Seahakws team, the Giants took a loss. That should never have happened, but it did.
Now, in Week 6, they are locked up with the Buffalo Bills. I can't see this going any better. That good start looks to be nothing more than a lot of false hope.
Houston Texans
Now, I do expect the Texans to come back and win the AFC South this year. But right now, they are scuffling.
Losing Andre Johnson for a few weeks and having to deal with a potentially banged up Matt Schaub is not going to do anything for Houston's chances.
That's just on the offensive side of the ball. The loss of Mario Williams will be extremely difficult to overcome.
Against the Ravens, I really don't see the Texans winning. Emotions aside, the Texans flat out blew it against the Raiders on Sunday.
Baltimore will not be any easier.
Philadelphia Eagles
At some point, the Eagles are going to come out of this. When they do, some poor team is going to be on the wrong end of a massive blowout.
But I don't see that happening against the Redskins. Actually, I see the Redskins continuing to send Philadelphia into a deeper frustration.
The Redskins have a team to play with the Eagles and beat them. Maybe the Eagles will come back, maybe they won't. But Week 6 isn't going to do them any favors.
