It's The Only Way...The Warrior Way!

It's December and the year's almost over so I thought I would write an article on a very special individual, a wrestler that I think gets slept on, but is a tremendous and spectacular athletic performer.He takes his career and profession very seriously. His name is Lowki (known as Senshi in TNA).

When I first saw Lowki wrestle I think it was when TNA first started out on Spike.I remember he wrestled in a fatal four way match against Jay Lethal(Before the whole Black Machismo),Alex Shelly(before the MCMG) and Sharkboy.Now Lowki won the match, he climbed to the top rope and gave Lethal the Warrior's Way.

For those of you who haven't seen it, he jumps off the top rope and drives both of feet into his opponents chest, sometimes he screams when doing it.When I saw him do it, I grabbed my chest!I had seen that before but not the way he had done it. When others did it they added hurt to it, but when he did it, he added pain and hurt to it. 

I think if someone was to ask me one of my favorite memories from TNA, it would have to be a Lowki memory. It was a tag team match,Lowki and somebody versus Ron" The Truth" Killing and his partner.

Anyway I remember they're getting ready to start the match and all of a sudden Lowki springboards off the middle rope and gives Ron an enzuigiri to the back of the head.I thought he knocked the man's eyes out of his head! And that's when he introduced to me the Tidal Wave.

This is in my top 10 favorite memories of seeing live wrestling matches. Friday September 19,2007.Richmond, Virginia(my hometown) I had the honor and privilege and to see Lowki wrestle. During that match I was full of ooh's and aww's and wow's.

To have an experience like that to see someone of his caliber of a wrestler, of his magnitude, to see someone you speak so highly of wrestle.Priceless.

He's won the NWA Tag Team Championship with Christoper Daniels and Elix Skipper,holding the straps on three different occasions. He's been a two time X Division Champion and is one of the many pioneers for TNA's popular, edgy and breathtaking X Division. And a dominant force on the Independent circuit.

I'm gonna go ahead and wrap this up. He's help me to understand that a belt doesn't make you a champion, but your dedication, passion and hard work. Lowki has incorporated his martial arts into his wrestling arsenal along with various submissions, making him a force to be reckoned with inside the ring and possibly outside because I'd hate to be the guy that makes him mad.

I don't like to use the word legend when referring to the younger wrestlers, but I will use future legends, but at this point in his career at only 29 years of age,I'm proud to call Lowki a legend.
