Terrell Owens: T.O's Silence on Twitter Regarding Hospitalization a Telling Sign

Terrell Owens isn’t talking for once and it has me very suspicious.

The king of “look at me!” athletes will do and say anything to stay in the limelight.

No need to rehash his life story, but all you need to know is that the only channel airing Owens right now is VH1.

The second all-time leading receiver in the NFL has been with five different teams in his career and most of his departures have ended the same way…bitter.

Locker room’s can’t handle his outgoing and explosive personality that can force players to choose sides.

That’s why his silence regarding last week’s hospitalization is so troubling.

Last Thursday he was rushed to the hospital after taking too many prescribed pain pills for his torn ACL according to TMZ.

A similar incident happened in 2006 and T.O. was quick to jump on the podium to declare everything was a misunderstanding. At the time, he was on the Dallas Cowboys and had a public forum to tell his side. 

This time around he isn’t on an NFL team and the only way of getting his message out there to the public is via Twitter.

So naturally a guy that has sent out over 12,000 tweets would quickly extinguish the rumors right?

Not quite.

He hasn’t uttered a peep about the whole situation and hasn’t tweeted in the last couple of days.

Is there more to this story?

Anything I would suggest in this forum would be purely speculation, so we won’t go down that road.

It’s just hard to fathom why one of the most outspoken athletes of all time, that is currently desperate to latch on to an NFL team, wouldn’t want to kill any sort of rumors like this as soon as possible.

The longer he stays silence on this whole ordeal the longer and more outlandish the speculation will come. 

T.O. needs to put this fire out soon before it engulfs his NFL career once and for good.
