2011 NFL Fantasy Football Week 6: Tight Ends (TE) Rankings / Projections

Aaron Hernandez vs. Cowboys

The Patriots got Aaron Hernandez back against the Jets, but at one point in the game, Hernandez had to head back to the locker room because of an injury. Thankfully, Hernandez returned to the game and finished with a respectable five receptions for 56 yards.

This week, the Patriots take on the Cowboys in what should be another high-scoring game, and a better fantasy day for Hernandez.

He's close to a top-five fantasy tight end these days, and Tom Brady should have no problems making both Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski weekly starters in fantasy leagues. Unless you have Jimmy Graham, Vernon Davis, Gronkowski, Jermichael Finley or Jason Witten on your team, Hernandez is the tight end to start from this point forward.

Jermaine Gresham vs. Colts

Despite Jermaine Gresham’s low total of 21 yards last week, he racked up five receptions and scored his third touchdown on the season. It’s clear that the Bengals offense won’t be going away this year, and it’s time to give Andy Dalton some love as he’s led his team to victories over the Bills and the Jaguars on the road, in recent weeks.

With A.J. Green drawing attention on the outside, Gresham will continue to be Dalton's No.2 option in the passing game, and why not, as the first-round pick from 2010 is a nice target to target.

Before his injury with the Sooners, Gresham was clearly a weekly threat for Sam Bradford in college, and he has the skills to be a weekly starter in fantasy leagues. Consider Gresham a respectable starter moving forward, and a nice dynasty hold.
