Hope Solo DWTS: Will Solo Snag New Boyfriend in Maksim Chmerkovskiy?

Hope Solo, America’s favorite soccer goalie, has been lighting up the small screen the last few weeks with her dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Dancing With the Stars. Their chemistry on the show has led to speculation that the two may have something more going on behind the scenes.

It is no secret that Chmerkovskiy recruited Solo to be on the show earlier this summer while she was playing in the World Cup.

Now that Solo has been on the show training for over a month, she has made no secret about what she thinks of her partner.

The two have always had an on-again off-again relationship, but based on the information at hand, it appears the people rooting for the soccer star to get together with her dancing partner are in for a disappointment.

Plus, Chmerkovskiy has a reputation as a big flirt on the show. In 2010, he was supposed to be dating Erin Andrews. The two did have some kind of relationship after the show ended, but the nature of it has never really been clear. It was likely nothing more than a friendship that got blown out of proportion.

Gossip is fun and it gives bored, lonely people something to talk about, but it appears that any rumors of Solo and Chmerkovskiy being an item off-screen are just that: rumors.
