WWE: 5 Reasons Sheamus Needs a New Feud Right Now

Sheamus is emerging as one of the best wrestlers in the WWE. He has a big , physical build and has the look of a heavyweight champion. The one downside for Sheamus is that he is on Smackdown, the number two show in the WWE universe. Sheamus can become a fan favorite and a star if they use him right. Here are five reasons Sheamus needs a new feud right now.

No. 5: Smackdown Is Not as Exciting as Raw

Smackdown has always been the less entertaining show from the WWE. They have great young talent, but not too many veterans. Sheamus is a younger star, but he has a lot of fans from being on Raw. If Sheamus can get a good rivalry going with someone on the Smackdown roster, maybe it can generate some more viewers to the Friday night show.

No. 4: Smackdown Needs a New Superstar

Looking at the Smackdown roster, I saw maybe four legitimate contenders for the World Championship. Sheamus has the charisma and the build to maintain the championship and keep fans tuned in. If they can build good storyline around Sheamus while introducing a young new star, I could see a young rivalry build that could catapult Sheamus to stardom.

No. 3: Sheamus Needs to Have a Good Story Plot

One thing that has helped previous stars in the WWE has been the development of a good story for their character. The WWE writers are fantastic with making twists and turns throughout the years for their athletes. Sheamus is a very versatile character that good either be good or bad. If they can develop a good story for Sheamus, I can see Smackdown gain more viewers and Sheamus would become a big-time star.

No. 2: He Could Headline a Major Pay Per View

We all love seeing big time matches on pay per views. Sheamus can definitely be a headliner in a match and it will draw a lot of focus and attention. If WWE were to pair him up against the likes of an Undertaker or any other superstar, Sheamus can get his time to shine yet again and emerge as a true young superstar.

No 1: Star in the Making

Sheamus has the perfect build to have as a champion. He can be either a good or bad guy and has great charisma. The key to being a successful wrestler is showmanship and he has all of that. If you mix in a good rivalry or feud with all that Sheamus brings to the table, I could see a WWE star in the making.
