Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
Joe Pavelski, San Jose
Pavelski has six points (four goals, two assists) in his last four games (1.5 points per game). This after scoring 16 (seven goals, nine assists) in his first 21 games (0.76 ppg). He has a point in each of his last three games. He’s a nice value in Sporting News salary cap leagues at $2.77 million.
Winger
Radek Dvorak, Florida
Radek also has six points (two goals, four assists) in his last four games (1.5 ppg). He had four points (one goal, three assists) in his first 19 games (0.21 ppg). He has a point in three-straight, and four of his last five games. He is in the bargain bin at $0.50 million.
Defenseman
Jay Bouwmeester, Florida
Yet another guy with six points (three goals, three assists) in his last four games (1.5 ppg). He actually has scored in four-straight, seven of eight, and eight of ten games. He had just eight assists in his first 20 games (0.4 ppg). He’s a nice value at $2.66 million.
Goalie
Craig Anderson, Florida
Another Florida player. In his last four games Anderson has gone 2-0-2 with a 1.86 goals-against average, and a 94.8-percent save percentage. Prior to that, he was 3-1-1 and his hot streak helped improve his GAA to 2.00 and his save percentage to 94.3 percent. He’s a good value at $2.87 million.
