NFL Predictions Week 6: Cam Newton and 8 QBs Primed for Big Games
It's never too early to start looking ahead to next week's quarterback matchups, as the NFL continues to produce historic passing numbers week after week.
Let's take a look at some of the quarterbacks who could put up big numbers in Week 6:

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Aaron Rodgers, Packers
The Rams could be 4-0 and this would still be a great matchup. The way it actually stands, St. Louis is winless and reeling on the defensive side of the ball. Rodgers is the hottest player in the game and a candidate for 400 yards every week.
Cam Newton, Panthers
There's no denying what Newton is accomplishing in Carolina. The rookie quarterback nearly shocked the Saints at home last week, and he gets a Falcons defense that gave up almost 400 yards to Rodgers in a devastating loss.
Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
The ankle looked plenty fine Sunday against the Titans, as Roethlisberger threw a career-high five touchdowns in a Steelers' win. He faces a Jaguars defense that is decent against the pass but can be exploited.
Tom Brady, Patriots
Brady threw another interception on Sunday, which gives him six already in 2011. He had four all of last season. Still, he remains one of the top throwers in the league and should give the Dallas secondary fits.
Drew Brees, Saints
Brees has thrown for fewer than 350 yards just once this season, and he still hit 270 in that contest. The five interceptions in three games is troubling, but no one consistently puts up the big numbers like Brees.
Good Matchups
Tony Romo, Cowboys
Say what you want about Romo and his "clutch gene," but the matchup against the Patriots defense is one that favors the Cowboys. Romo vs. Brady will be one of the better matchups in Week 6.
Tough Matchups
Matthew Stafford, Lions
If there is a defense that is playing better than the 49ers right now, I'd like to see it. Stafford will get San Fran on a short week, too, as the Lions play tonight against the Bears. However, the 49ers haven't seen a combination like Stafford and Megatron.
Michael Vick, Eagles
There's no doubting his struggles this season, but Vick is always a candidate for huge numbers. There is going to be some serious desperation as the Eagles attempt to avoid their fifth straight loss in Washington. Even if the turnovers continue, Vick will get the opportunity to fill the stat sheet.
