Terrell Owens: Does Hospitalization Officially KO Owens NFL Career?
What’s the deal with Terrell Owens hiding major events in his life?
It’s pretty ironic that a guy who loves the spotlight more than any other player of the past decade has covered up two major events in the past six months. First it was his ACL tear, now it’s a trip to the hospital. Here is TMZ with the details:
""An ambulance was sent to the apartment at 11:02 PM Thursday night—and police arrived soon after.
Officials are not disclosing the nature of the emergency—or explaining why cops were called to the scene.
We're told T.O. had already been rushed away by ambulance by the time cops arrived to the apartment, so they followed up with the football star at the hospital.
He has since been released from the hospital."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
T.O. must not have been seriously injured considering he is already back on Twitter talking to his fans.
How are NFL teams going to react to this?
Last week Owens had told reporters he was on the fast track to recovery and had plans to be on a team by Halloween. After almost reaching the 1,000-yard mark despite missing multiple games last season. He is still capable of putting up big numbers.
Yet does anybody want to deal with the distractions and mayhem that go along with him? CBS Sports’ NFL insider Charlie Casserly was pretty clear in his thoughts on the matter on Inside The NFL Sunday:
""I wouldn't sign him today," he said. "When I go back to Cincinnati [film] last year, he wouldn't go across the middle, he wouldn't block. My sources in Cincinnati told me a couple things: he still had that selfish attitude and he's still a disruptive guy in the locker room. Not for me."
"
His refusal to go over the middle resulted in a ton of Carson Palmer interceptions last season and it slowly broke the team.
Owens has burned bridges with four teams now (Bengals, Eagles, Bills, Cowboys) and his pool of potential playoff teams is beginning to shrink.
Think about it…if your team is off to a good start, why would you want to disrupt the chemistry by signing the ultimate locker room cancer? T.O. has made it clear he wants to play for a Super Bowl, which means the Rams, the favorite to land Owens in the offseason, are out of the mix.
The latest T.O. story is just further proof that this guy is a walking drama machine. Was somebody overacting to Owens and panicked by calling 911? Or was he legitimately in extreme pain? At this point you could make the argument either way.
It’s hard to lay out a scenario where a playoff team would take a stab at Owens. The latest mishap does nothing but make the situation even worse.
***UPDATE***
TMZ has provided new details on why Owens was rushed to the hospital:
"Emergency officials were responding to a call about a possible prescription pill overdose when they were dispatched to the L.A. apartment where Terrell Owens was staying last week ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
"
As we first reported, Owens was transported by ambulance to an L.A. hospital Thursday night. Cops were also dispatched to investigate -- and spoke with T.O. at the hospital.
Owens has since been released.
This reminds us of the infamous 2006 debacle where rumors were flying that Owens has swallowed over 30 pills.
Regardless of what exactly happened, this is not going to bode well for T.O.'s comeback for one final attempt to win a Super Bowl.
