WWE: Is Christian Floundering on Smackdown, Would a Move to Raw Help?
Ever since Christian returned to WWE back when ECW was still one of their brands, fans have been hoping for Captain Charisma to break through that barrier and become a main event star.
Christian found success on ECW, holding the ECW championship twice while on the defunct brand. Once ECW closed its doors, Christian made his way to SmackDown. Many people thought we would either see a reunion with Edge, or possibly a feud with him.
Neither of those things happened. Christian did his own thing while Edge was still running around as World Heavyweight Champion.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Christian would eventually get a break, but unfortunately it was at the cost of his best friend. Edge found out that he was no longer able to compete after years of abuse had caused his spine to begin shrinking.
Many people say that had Edge not had to retire Christian would have never been World Champion. I simply do not believe this to be the case. He is a two time World Champion now and is still in the title picture.
Currently, Mark Henry is the World Champion, and he is embroiled in a feud with the returning Big Show. So where does this leave Christian?
He has had numerous matches with Randy Orton over the title, so I do not see the two of them engaging in any more singles matches anytime soon. The possibility exists that Christian could begin a program with Sheamus.
The Celtic Warrior has been doing well with his babyface push and, utilizing Christian's experience, the two of them could easily put on a feud more engaging than the world title feud.
I am not sure what the plans are for Christian, but I can't help but wonder if he would not find more success on Raw.
Despite being more interesting and unpredictable than it has been in years, the Raw main event scene has been somewhat stale in terms of the participants.
Cena, Del Rio and Punk have been the front runners on Raw for months now. Miz is involved in his new tag team with R-Truth so he is somewhat out of the title picture, adding Christian could bring a whole new dynamic.
He and Cena have put on good quality matches in the past, and Punk and Del Rio could also churn out high-end matches with the Canadian.
The feud I am most hoping to see Christian get into at this point would be with Daniel Bryan. Both men are incredibly talented in the ring, and together they could help keep each other's profile up while waiting to get into the title hunt once again.
With Bryan saying he will wait until WrestleMania to cash in, he is without a program. He and Christian could put on the match of the night every time if given enough time to work with.
Christian may not be the most engaging superstar out there, but he is one of the more reliable in terms of skill, being able to adapt and taking care of his fellow wrestlers in the ring. I can't remember the last time Christian botched a move, and he has proven he can be a team player over and over again.
I hope to see Christian with gold around his waist again soon, because if he doesn't get it back soon he may never get the chance again.
