BCS Rankings 2011: Teams That Deserve Top 10 Rankings

One of the worst things in college football is knowing that a team shouldn't be in the Top 10 of the BCS rankings, yet somehow they weasel themselves in anyhow.

It happens every year and every year there is nothing we can do about it.  This year this is quite a handful of teams that shouldn't be in the Top 10 of course, but they 

We normally think about in a negative light, but this time let's take a different approach.

Instead of talking about teams that don't belong in the Top 10 of the BCS rankings, here are a few teams that deserve to be in the Top 10.

Georgia Tech

The Yellow Jackets are 6-0 right now and have put up a ton of points in the process. They have been the dominant team in the ACC other than Clemson. They deserve to be in the Top 10 without a doubt.

South Carolina

The Gamecocks really dropped the ball against Auburn, but other then that they have looked exceptional this season. Quarterback Stephen Garcia has been extremely inconsistent, but the running game and Marcus Lattimore more than make up for his inefficiencies.

If it weren't for the bad loss to Auburn, they would be one of the best teams in the nation and right in the SEC title mix.

West Virginia

The Mountaineers lost to the best team in the nation. If not for that loss, which is hard to count against them by the way, they would have a 6-0  record. Every team LSU plays will most likely lose, so in West Virginia shouldn't be penalized.
