Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups: Joel Dreessen and 3 TEs Perfect for Flex Position
Joel Dreessen has really stepped up for the Houston Texans, and they need his production especially with star wideout Andre Johnson down. Dreessen had five catches for 112 yards in the Texans' Week 5 loss to the emotionally inspired Oakland Raiders.
However, this was more catches than he had in the other four games combined, though Dreessen figures only to be a short-term option.
The Giants always find a tight end. In Week 5, Eli Manning found Jake Ballard for three receptions, 71 yards and one TD. It was the second consecutive game he had three catches and a TD.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If you're looking for a solid contributor at the flex position who won't generate zeros, and finds the end zone, Ballard is a good option.
Manning is starting to gain a feel for him and they seem to be building a nice chemistry.
There was a Heath Miller sighting in Week 5. The big veteran Steelers tight end caught his first TD of the season—one of five Big Ben Roethlisberger threw, despite a bad ankle.
Miller will never be a six-catch, 100-yard per game tight end, but many of his catches will be in the end zone. The Steelers offense is finding a dangerous balance with the power running style, deep threat with Mike Wallace and the intermediate passing game.
The latter benefits Hines Ward and Heath Miller most for the Steelers.
