Tim Tebow Video: Watch Broncos Star on Thrilling Final Play
At halftime of their game against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, the Denver Broncos looked like they were doomed. They were down 23-10, and their offense simply wasn't getting the job done against the Chargers' stingy defense.
So Broncos head coach John Fox decided to make a change. Out came Kyle Orton, and in went Tim Tebow, much to the home crowd's delight.
At the end of it all, the Broncos very nearly delighted in a win. They were down 26-10 midway through the fourth quarter, but Tebow pulled them closer with a touchdown run and a touchdown pass. With one second left in the game, Tebow and the Broncos had time for one more play from the San Diego 29-yard line.

Naturally, that play ended up being a wild one. If you missed it the first time, check it out in the above video.
Tebow took the snap in the gun and quickly saw the pocket collapse around him. He bought himself some time with a but of crafty scrambling, and eventually started making his way towards the right sideline. It was then that Tebow launched the ball towards the end zone.
Waiting somewhere on the other end was Matt Willis. And for a second there, it looked like the ball was going to end up in his hands.
It didn't. The ball was knocked away and fell harmlessly to the ground. Like that, the game was over, and the Broncos were 1-4.
Still, my guess is that Broncos fans will agree that the day was a success. It looked like it was going to be a laugher at halftime, and Tebow came in and made a game of it. He didn't end up with particularly pretty numbers, but he nearly ended up with a win.
They say that's what Tebow does best. It seems the Broncos are willing to gamble on them being right.
