Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups: Matt Moore and 3 Players to Counter the Bye Week
Matt Moore is getting a second shot at starting at QB in the NFL. Will this one end in a permanent spot under center? It is highly unlikely, but of the pickings at QB on the available list figure to be slim.
At least Moore has the benefit of run-after-catch players like Daniel Thomas, Reggie Bush and Brandon Marshall.
In Andre Johnson's stead, Kevin Walter is a great option at wide receiver. This week he grabbed five balls for 81 yards and one TD.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Walter is a big and physical receiver who will likely be a favorite target of Matt Schaub during Johnson's absence. Walter is a solid pick up even after Johnson returns.
Donald Jones of the Buffalo Bills made some big grabs for the Bills against the Philadelphia Eagles. But his ankle injury may keep him out of the lineup for a few games. This should improve the statistical output from David Nelson.
One key for Buffalo's offense, beyond riding Fred Jackson, is spreading the ball around. This has been the case for both Donald Jones and David Nelson, who have a combined 31 receptions in the Bills' wins. Ryan Fitzgerald spreads the ball around well and Bills receivers haven't rendered many zero-point totals this year.
In a battle of New York in Week 6, the Bills will visit the Giants. Jones should be a decent pickup if you have Brandon Lloyd, Dwayne Bowe, Vincent Jackson or Larry Fitzgerald. All of these players will be on bye week in Week 6.
