Tim Tebow: Why John Fox Should Have Made the QB Change Sooner
Move over Kyle Orton, it looks like the Tim Tebow era may be officially underway in Denver.
Well, at least for the moment.
For months now Broncos fans have been clamoring and almost begging head coach John Fox and executive vice president of football operations John Elway to promote Tebow to the starting role.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Orton seemed like the natural fit at the time, the fans wanted to see the magic that Tebow brings to the field anytime he touches the ball.
He was one of the most prolific college football players ever during his time with the Florida Gators, and Broncos fans wanted to tap in to some of that "Tebow magic."
Nonetheless, Fox and Elway stuck to their guns and kept Orton under center.
That is until now...
It seems as if Fox finally broke his resolve and has pulled Orton from their matchup with the Chargers in favor Tebow, according to the Associated Press:
"The Denver Broncos went with Tim Tebow at quarterback to start the second half Sunday against San Diego.
A fan favorite, Tebow was instantly greeted with a chorus of cheers as he trotted onto the field. The crowd was so loud that Tebow couldn't hear the play call in his helmet.
Tebow went three-and-out in his first series. He did complete a short pass to wide receiver Eric Decker.
Starter Kyle Orton had a horrible first half, completing 6 of 13 passes for 34 yards. He also threw one interception.
Tebow was involved in one play during the first half, gaining 2 yards on a carry.
"
That's right folks, it's Tebow time, and it feels oh so good.
Since entering the game Tebow led his team back with with a few touchdowns and looked to be in control of the offense.
Coach Fox made the right move by putting Tebow in. In fact, he should have trusted him sooner.
Tebow may not have the best mechanics and he may not be a great quarterback, but he is an exceptional leader and he knows how to win.
If anything he is proving that right now, and that is something that the Broncos desperately need.
Tebow-mania is about to start up again in full force.
This time it may be deserved.
