Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With Jackson going down with a shoulder injury, Charlie Whitehurst will be launched from backup to starter and no one knows for how long yet.
Fantasy Impact
If you had Tarvaris Jackson in a fantasy football league, you need more help with your knowledge of football than anything else.
While you shouldn’t have a Seattle quarterback period, if you have to have one, Charlie Whitehurst would be a solid pickup if Jackson can’t go next week.
Who’s the Backup
Charlie Whitehurst was in a battle with Tarvaris Jackson for the starting job in the offseason, but the team started Jackson because they didn’t want to look stupid for signing him.
Whitehurst is a better QB for the system they run in Seattle, and it may be a blessing in disguise for the Seahawks.
Devastation Scale (2 out of 10)
I actually feel that this could be a blessing in disguise for the Seahawks, and the truth is, Charlie Whitehurst may actually be the better quarterback.
If the Seahawks perform well, the coaching staff may be inclined to give the backup another opportunity at taking the helm.
Timeline for Return
There was been no official word out of Seattle yet, so no timeline for a return is known at this time.
