Patriots vs. Jets: Aaron Hernandez, Albert Haynesworth Active for Sunday's Game
After a week of doubt and uncertainty, the New England Patriots will dress tight end Aaron Hernandez and defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth in Sunday's divisional battle against the New York Jets.
Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston is reporting that Hernandez and Haynesworth are active, while Josh Barrett, Mike Wright, Sebastain Vollmer, Danny Woodhead, Jerod Mayo, Julian Edelman and Ryan Mallett are all the inactive players for New England Sunday afternoon.
Coming into Sunday, Hernandez has missed the last two games for New England, as he suffered a MCL sprain during Week 2's battle against the San Diego Chargers. Hernandez was expected to miss quite sometime, but is active against the Jets. Hernandez has caught 14 balls on the season for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Haynesworth, on the other hand, has been a non-factor this season, as he's been dealing with a back injury the entire season. Haynesworth played in the first two games for New England and he recorded only two tackles and zero sacks.
From a New England standpoint, it will be extremely beneficial if Hernandez and Haynesworth can contribute in a big way this afternoon at Gillette Stadium—both players have the talent and ability to be difference makers in this rivalry game.
