Vincent Jackson: Fantasy Owners Must Think Twice Before Starting Chargers Star

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Diego Chargers star wideout Vincent Jackson will play in their Week 5 matchup against the Denver Broncos despite an injured hamstring, but the amount he will play is still unclear, making Jackson an iffy start this week.

With the question of exactly how much Jackson will play even hours before the Chargers take the field still lingering, it is a big warning for fantasy owners. If his exact condition isn't known this close to game time, his effectiveness on the field will remain to be seen.

One thing in favor of fantasy owners is the fact that the Denver Broncos are one of the worst pass defense teams in the NFL, and even if Jackson is still not 100 percent, he still could put up decent numbers playing alongside Malcom Floyd downfield.

The decision to start Jackson or not is a tough one, and going either way could come back to haunt you in the end as he could be a complete stud or a complete dud.

If you have no other option at wide receiver start Jackson. If you have anyone that has any kind of shot to produce sit Jackson this week and wait it out until Week 7 where Jackson will have the Chargers' Week 6 bye week to get back to 100 percent.
