NFL Picks Week 5: Projecting Scores for Every Primetime Game
This week features two intriguing prime-time matchups, as the Atlanta Falcons host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night and the Chicago Bears travel to Detroit to take on the Lions on Monday night.
The Falcons offense had a much-needed shot in the arm last week in their 30-28 last-minute victory over the Seattle Seahawks, but they've yet to see a team the likes of Green Bay this season.
While the Packers defense allows well over 300 yards of passing offense per game, on average, boding well for yet another shootout, Aaron Rodgers is a far superior quarterback to Atlanta's Matt Ryan.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This will make all the difference in this game, and will lead the Packers to a 5-0 start on the season. Final score: 40-34, Packers.
There will indeed be high scoring when the Lions host the Bears on Monday, but it will be decidedly one-sided. The Bears are one of the least productive offenses in the league, due primarily to a lack of a passing game.
While quarterback Jay Cutler certainly shoulders the blame for part of it, their poor receiving corps and even worse offensive line plays a significant role. At the same time, the Lions boast a tough defense that will key in not just on Cutler, but Bears offensive leader Matt Forte.
The Chicago defense will prove to be no match for Detroit's high-octane passing game. While the Lions have struggled to get much production from their running game so far this season, it hasn't presented much of a problem in the first four weeks of the season, and it won't on Monday night either.
In every statistical category, the Lions are a better team than the Bears, and that will be made very clear by the final score on Monday night. I project a Detroit win, 31-13.
