Colts vs. Chiefs: 5 Halftime Adjustments Kansas City Must Make
The Chiefs are looking to pick up their second win against the winless Colts. Both teams are in the hunt for highly-touted QB prospect Andrew Luck, so this game should provide clarity as to which team will have the best shot at the No. 1 overall draft pick.
The first half is one to forget for the Chiefs. They have looked bad in almost all aspects of the game and will need some major halftime adjustments to get back into the game.
Here are five things Kansas City must do in the second half against Indianapolis:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Get pressure on Painter.
Curtis Painter is getting way too much time to make decisions and is finding open receivers downfield. The Chiefs need to find a way to get pressure on the Indy QB and force him to make bad decisions.
The first-year starter has proven that, with time, he can find the Colts' WRs. More blitzes and defensive line stunts need to be called to get Painter uncomfortable.
2. Keep getting Thomas Jones the ball.
Thomas Jones has looked better than McCluster so far this game. Keeping the ball on the ground can open up downfield passes for Cassel, so find ways to get Jones involved in the passing game and continue giving him a ton of carries.
He can help the offense get into short second and third down opportunities that are key for the Chiefs to have success.
3. Force turnovers.
The Chiefs need to force a few turnovers to get the ball in favorable position for the offense. The Kansas City offense has struggled so far and will need short field to work with to score points.
Force Painter to get in uncomfortable situations and make him make some mistakes.
4. Limit big plays.
The Colts have been having pretty good success passing the ball downfield. The Chiefs need to force the Colts into long second and third down distances.
The Chiefs' secondary needs to limit the explosive receivers by playing a variety of different coverages, and the front seven needs to limit the run and force the Colts to make plays through the air.
5. Cover Pierre Garcon.
Pierre Garcon has been downright dominant in the first half. The Colts need to consider double-teaming him and forcing Painter to find another target.
The defense has looked lost on the field and will need to adjust their coverages in the second half.
