With a dominant win over Brian Stann in his return to the Octagon, Chael Sonnen may have earned himself a rematch with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. In his post-fight interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan, Sonnen wasn't afraid to ask for that rematch himself.

After months of being unable to talk trash due to the fact that he was facing off against an American war hero, Sonnen let loose on Silva with months of pent-up frustration. Here are some of Sonnen's best quotes from Saturday night.

First Words After Beating Brain Stann

"Anderson Silva, you absolutely suck."

Immediately after his submission win over Brian Stann, Chael Sonnen was greeted by UFC commentator Joe Rogan inside the Octagon. Sonnen had no interest in talking about the fight that had just gone down, though.

Instead, he immediately took aim at Silva. Sonnen's post-fight remarks may have set the stage for the most highly-anticipated rematch in UFC history.

Upping the Stakes

"I'm calling you out [Anderson] Silva, but we're upping the stakes. I beat you, you leave the division. You beat me, I will leave the UFC forever."

In a quote that seemed more appropriate for a WWE event, Chael Sonnen challenged Silva to a rematch on Super Bowl Sunday. More interestingly, Sonnen put his career on the line by saying he'd leave the UFC if he suffered another loss to Silva.

The Chael Sonnen We Know and Love/Hate Is Back

"The role would have been on the other foot, I would have come over that role and shoved the microphone up his (Anderson Silva) ass if he would have said that to me, but you saw what he did. He sat there, and it was a good move."

At the post-fight press conference, Chael Sonnen made a point to call out Silva for not responding to Sonnen's previously mentioned challenge. Silva, who was sitting ringside, seemed to laugh Sonnen's comments off.

Turning His Attention on Another Brazilian

"If my name comes out of his mouth again, I will bury him where he stands. Second off, tell Vitor [Belfort] to meet me at the hotel in 30 minutes, because daddy's got a plane to catch, and I summon him to carry my luggage."

Several of Brazilian middleweights, including Belfort, have called Chael Sonnen out after he made controversial comments about their country before his first fight with Anderson Silva. Nonetheless, Sonnen only has his eyes set on facing one of those Brazilians, and that is Silva.

Singular Focus

"That's not the match I was after. I'm after 12 pounds of gold. As far as I'm concerned, that belt isn't worth more than a piece of tin when it's around his (Anderson Silva) waist. I am the true middleweight champion."

While Sonnen calls himself the people's champion, he is still after the strap that Silva gets to carry around. Sonnen came less than two minutes away from taking that belt in his first meeting with the champion, so he is on a mission to get another crack at the pound-for-pound king.
