Fantasy Football Week 5: Stevan Ridley and 3 Deep Sleepers Who Will Shine

Are you looking for a deep sleeper who may put up big numbers this week?

If so, you definitely want to keep Isaac Redman, Steven Ridley and Preston Parker in mind.

Isaac Redman, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers aren't expected to release any news on Rashard Mendenhall's eligibility for this game until just before kickoff.

If Mendenhall is unavailable, Redman immediately becomes a sleeper candidate for the week. He does have a tough matchup this week against the Tennessee Titans, but anyone getting the bulk of the carries should be considered as a fantasy option.

Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots

Ridley has huge potential this week against the New York Jets. The Jets give up the seventh-most rushing yards in the NFL, and have really been exposed in recent weeks.

Ridley's touches have been increasing each and every week, as he finished with 11 touches last week. for 100 yards of total offense.

He has certainly earned the right for more carries, and if the Patriots find a way to get him 10 to 15 touches this week, he could put on a showcase against the Jets.

Preston Parker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Parker has proven to have terrific hands this season as he has caught 16 passes on just 21 targets. He is quickly becoming a safety net for Josh Freeman, who has quickly realized that he can rely on the North Alabama product.

Parker had seven targets last week, and hauled in five passes for a total of 70 yards and a touchdown.

The Bucs face the No. 24 ranked pass defense in the NFL this week, and it could be Parker's time to shine. The Bucs only face four top 10 pass defenses for the remainder of the year, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Parker put together a solid season.
