UFC 136 Results: Chael Sonnen Retains "His" Middleweight Title
On Saturday night, Chael Sonnen was able to retain "his" middleweight title by defeating Brian Stann.
In the first round, it took Chael about a minute or so to finally get the fight to the ground, but once he did, there was nothing Stann could do.
As the second round started, it was more of the same, as Sonnen got Stann down and easily controlled him.
Halfway through the round, Sonnen locked in an arm triangle choke, and forced Stann to submit.
The biggest news from the fight came from the post fight interview, where Sonnen issued a challenge to Anderson Silva.
Silva loses the rematch? He leaves the division.
Sonnen loses the rematch? He leaves the UFC.
This is going to be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.
