New Orleans Saints: Will the Saints Keep Marching On?
After a pretty serious debacle of a game against the Green Bay Packers on opening night, the Saints came back and played well at home against the Chicago Bears, beating them 30-13. After losing to the Packers the week before, the Saints came back in a big way, playing well on both offense and defense, and won the game.
The injury bug hasn’t been too kind to the Saints. They lost their top receiver, Marques Colston, to an injury in the first game, but luckily, Devery Henderson and tight end David Thomas stepped it up and helped the Saints move the ball down the field. New Orleans has a lot of depth at the receiver and tight end position, and it appears as if the injuries that they suffered may not have too big of a negative of an impact on the team.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This team is one of the better teams in the league right now and could roll the rest of the way through the season. In their division, the Atlanta Falcons are not playing as well as everyone thought that they would, as are the Bucs. The Panthers look like they may still have a little ways to go, so the NFC South could be left to the Saints when it’s all said and done.
The Saints will have to contend with the Packers for the role as the best team in the conference if they continue playing like they have been in the last few games and if they keep on winning. They certainly have the players and the coaching staff to keep on winning, and if they can keep on winning, they have an excellent chance of making the playoffs.
The Saints are on the right track after their win against Jacksonville this past Sunday and will face a tough team with the Carolina Panthers. Their defense has to be ready to take on surprisingly good quarterback Cam Newton and the Panthers in their next game. While the Panthers have won just one game, they have been close in all of their losses and almost won each of those games.
And games between these two teams are always good.
So we will continue to watch as the Saints continue to meet and exceed the expectations that were put upon them before the season began. There have been many experts that feel that the Saints are primed to return to the Super Bowl this year and win it all. Anything is possible, but one thing is for sure with this team, and that’s that they can easily win a lot of games and get to the playoffs. But can they go all the way this season?
We will soon find out as the season moves on.
