NFL Predictions Week 5: Lions and Packers Continue Winning Streaks
I never thought that I would see the day where the Detroit Lions were 4-0, but that day has arrived.
To make matters even more intriguing, NFC North opponent and the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers are undefeated as well, but that is not as surprising.
Shocked or not, this makes for a very intriguing matchup in the division when the two finally meet each other.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Is it possible that both teams will be undefeated once Thanksgiving rolls around?
I'm not sure, and perhaps we're getting a little bit ahead of ourselves. Before we start talking about undefeated matchups, we need to worry about Week 5 of the 2011 NFL season.
Here are a few teams that I think will win their matchups, and yes, the Packers and Lions are amongst them:
They've gotten off to a great start, and even though the Bills experienced a hiccup against the Bengals, I think they will regain their stride against a reeling Eagles team. Perhaps it's not as much as my belief in Buffalo as it is my disbelief in the "dream team Eagles."
This may be the worst game of the week, as the Colts square off with Kansas City Chiefs. Two horrible teams get together with horrible records. Kansas City is 1-3 and the Colts are 0-4. I think home-field advantage will be enough to propel the Colts over the Chiefs.
Detroit Lions:
Ford Field is going to be rocking, and I think that home-field advantage will be too much for a shaky Bears team to handle. Jay Cutler is having some trouble with the pocket, and the Lions are known to bring some pressure. Can you imagine a 5-0 start in Detroit?
Green Bay Packers:
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers went into Atlanta and tore off the Falcons defense in the playoffs. I don't see much that has changed on their defense to suggest to me that it won't happen again. Rodgers is on fire, and he's going to keep it up.
