NFL Picks Week 5: Ranking Best 3 Suicide Pool Options
There are some rock solid plays for suicide pools this week. The following three games are as close to locks as you are going to get in the NFL.
New York Giants over Seattle Seahawks
This is the unquestioned No. 1 pick for this week. This is a dream matchup for the Giants.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Seahawks' offensive line is horrible. The Giants' defensive line is dominant. So while the Giants' defense has struggled at times this year, they are going to have an easy go of it this week as their defensive line spends the majority of their day in the Seahawks backfield.
Offensively, the Giants' offensive line is not much better than the Seahawks. This has crippled the Giants run game. The Seahawks have a solid rush defense, but a suspect pass defense.
Combined with a less-than-stellar secondary is the fact that the Seahawks don't have a very good pass rush and almost never generate pressure with just their down lineman.
Giants will win by at least 14.
New Orleans Saints over Carolina Panthers
There are a couple of red flags in this one, but not enough to keep anyone from playing this with confidence.
First the red flags. The Panthers are at home. They have the third ranked passing offense, and they are going against the 19th ranked passing defense.
They have the sixth-best passing defense going against the second-best passing offense.
These facts do not indicate a lopsided matchup. However, the Saints defense, while getting torched, throws a lot of looks at QBs. It is similar to the Packers defense that intercepted Cam Newton three times.
Also, the Saints have turned into a solid rushing team. They are 10th in the NFL in rushing yards gained. The Panthers are struggling mightily against the run. They have allowed the 31st most rushing yards.
Saints will win by at least 10.
New England Patriots over New York Jets
The Jets are reeling. This is clearly not the same team that beat the Patriots in the playoffs last season. The defense is much slower. They are getting no pressure on the QB, and they are struggling to stop the run.
The Patriots bring a much improved rushing attack into this game, which will keep the Jets from focusing on stopping Tom Brady and the aerial assault.
Offensively, the Jets should be able to find some success in the air against the Patriots' poor secondary. However, the Pats front seven will overwhelm a weak Jets' offensive line, and the Jets will have no shot at keeping up the scoring pace the Patriots will set.
Patriots will win by at least 10.
