Fantasy Football Week 5: The Fantasy Star From Every Early Game
For the 1 PM ET starts, this is a list of the players that will shine brightest and likely decide wins and losses in the world of fantasy football this week.
Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger
Is Ben hurting? Sure he is, but only surgery or a legal case could keep him out of the lineup. He is as tough and durable as they come. The Titans' defense has carried them so far this season, but the Steelers' passing attack is multi-faceted. Ben should grab a couple of touchdown tosses in this one, but don't expect a shootout.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Seattle Seahawks at NY Giants: Brandon Jacobs
I just have a great feeling about this guy today. The Giants should dominate field position and pound the Hawks after what figures to be at least two turnovers. Jacobs for nearly 100 yards and a couple touchdown runs.
Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars: Maurice Jones-Drew
The Bengals seem primed for a letdown after knocking off Buffalo last week. The Jaguars haven't been awful so far this season and MJD is still very capable. I say he gets 100 yards on the ground and a score.
New Orleans at Carolina: Darren Sproles
It is almost natural to go with Drew Brees, but I won't here. Reason being, the Panthers' run defense looked soft as Charmin against the Bears last week. The Panthers have proven they can score points through the air with the Rookie of the Year; yeah, I said it.
The Saints will do well to pound the ball with their three starter-level backs. I predict Sproles will have the biggest game because of his explosiveness and part in the return game.
Oakland at Houston: Darren McFadden
The Raiders will play spirited football in the wake of the passing of Al Davis. This energy effects the running game and defense most of all. The Raiders' running game is already stout and McFadden is leading the league in rushing. He will have a big game here as well; figure two touchdowns and 135 yards.
Philadelphia at Buffalo: Fred Jackson
It was so hard not to go with Mike Vick here, especially after his amazing performance last week versus the 49ers. But the Eagles' run defense still sucks and Fred Jackson is second in the NFL in rushing. Big game for Fred, 125 yards and a touchdown.
Kansas City at Indianapolis: Dwayne Bowe
This was difficult, simply because there aren't many standout players for either team this year. I went with Bowe because he finally found himself last week. This is a good team for him to play right now; maybe he can get on a roll with consecutive good performances. Figure 115 yards and a touchdown.
Arizona at Minnesota: Adrian Peterson
AP will bust the Cardinals for a stress-relieving breakout day. He has been solid and consistent all year, but this is going to be an eye-popper. The Cardinals defense hasn't been strong all year and the Vikings need a win in the worst way. AP will go over 220 yards with two touchdowns including some big runs.
