This is one of the original pioneers of the NFL passing away, and the entire fan base of the NFL, no matter what allegiance you have or what your personal feelings about how Davis ran his team, has to feel sympathy for Davis’ family and entire Raider nation.
The Silver and Black made opponents cringe and fans cheer, and the responsibility for all the years of dominance all fell on the shoulders of Al Davis.
