Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's look at five players whose injury concerns you need to monitor this weekend.
Injury information from NFL.com
1) Beanie Wells, Arizona Cardinals
Beanie Wells is probable with a hamstring injury, but his team is playing against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are only allowing 76 rushing yards per game this season, and the Cardinals offense as a whole hasn't been amazing.
The Vikings are desperate for a win and have a good rush defense, so starting Wells should only be considered in extreme cases.
2) Jacoby Jones, Houston Texans
With Andre Johnson out for three weeks, Jacoby Jones is expected to fill in for the Pro Bowler, but Jones is questionable himself.
Jones has been a limited participant in practice, and combined with Houston's expected run-heavy approach to Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders, Jones is not a smart start for Week 5.
3) Rashard Mendenhall, Pittsburgh Steelers
Rashard Mendenhall hasn't been a full participant in practice this week for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he is questionable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a hamstring injury.
The Titans rush defense is allowing just 88 yards per game on the ground. Monitor Mendenhall's status throughout the weekend; he might be play a limited role in the Steelers offense on Sunday.
4) Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a few injury concerns this weekend for their matchup against the Tennessee Titans, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is at the top of the list.
Big Ben will likely start on Sunday, and he is listed as probable with a foot injury. He has a favorable matchup against the bad Titans defense. Start him like you normally would on your fantasy team.
5) Vincent Jackson, San Diego Chargers
Vincent Jackson participated in the San Diego Chargers' practice on Friday and is expected to play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
The Broncos pass defense allows 275 passing yards per game, so Jackson has a very favorable matchup. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers will have no trouble getting Jackson the ball.
Start Jackson as you normally would this week.
