College Football Week 5 TV Schedule: 3 Games That Will Keep You Watching All Day

Dan RenfroOct 8, 2011

College football is in for a huge weekend.

There are good games all day long and I have highlighted the three biggest games at different times throughout the day. That way, you can kick back, relax and spend your entire afternoon watching football.

Oklahoma vs. Texas, 12:00 pm EST

The Red River Rivalry has another installment this weekend and it will be a good one. Both teams are ranked in the Top 15, with both looking to take a step towards winning the Big 12 Title.

With no title game, every game becomes important in the Big 12. The winner of this game will be in the driver's seat in the Big 12. They know that, we know that. As a result, this will be a great start to a great day.

Florida vs. LSU, 3:30 pm EST

LSU is the No. 1 team in the country and Florida is coming off a beatdown at the hands of Alabama. Without their quarterback, John Brantley, the Gators will be in some trouble.

Even so, nothing comes easy in the SEC. LSU is tough at home, but they have seemed to enjoy playing close games in the past. This year, they've been beating people pretty soundly, but that could end this week. LSU doesn't have a great offense, which could be a problem against Florida's inspired defense.

With that said, the Tigers have one of the best defenses in the country and they will raise hell for the Gators offense. It will be a close, low-scoring game that you won't want to miss.

Auburn vs. Arkansas, 7:00 pm EST

These two teams will be battling it out in another SEC clash. Arkansas is coming off an impressive victory over Texas A&M last week and they hope to start winning in the SEC to try and make a BCS bowl game.

Auburn seems to have rebounded after losing to Clemson and they have to keep winning to get back to a BCS bowl. Obviously, they don't have the same magic as last year, but that doesn't mean they can't win a road game in the conference.

These teams can't afford to lose another game, which will make this a bloodbath. You won't want to miss it.
