Week 5 Fantasy Football Interactive: Interactive Injury Chart and Advice

Fantasy Football SpinOct 7, 2011

As you all know, things can change before Sunday kickoff so be sure to check back as we will be updating Injury status on your fantasy football players throughout the weekend and then every 10 minutes starting at 11:30 a.m. until the 1 p.m. kickoffs. We will then check back in with updates starting at 3 p.m. for the late games.

WEEK 5 BYEs: Baltimore, Cleveland, Dallas, Miami, St Louis, Washington

The Steelers enter their home game against a stout Titan Defense at far less than 100% as Big Ben will play despite a sprained foot but RB Rashard Mendenhall seems unlikely to suit up after he was limited in Friday’s practice. Mendy is a game time decision and all signs point to Isaac Redman shouldering the load against the Titans eighth-ranked run defense.

On the WR front, Andre Johnson will likely miss the next three weeks which leaves Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walter as the starters for Week 5 against Oakland’s 22nd ranked pass defense. Do you think they miss Nnamdi?

Expect a heavy dose of Arian Foster who could easily approach 30 carries again.Vincent Jackson returned for Friday’s practice and things are looking up for him when the Chargers travel to Mile High (4 p.m. kickoff)—make sure you have a backup plan for Jackson considering the late start (GB’s Randall Cobb or DET Titus Young are lower end options with upside that play Sunday and Monday night).
