Week 5 Fantasy Football Interactive: Interactive Injury Chart and Advice

Oct 7, 2011

As you all know, things can change before Sunday kickoff so be sure to check back as we will beย updating Injury status on your fantasy football players throughout the weekend and then every 10 minutes starting at 11:30 a.m. until the 1 p.m. kickoffs. Weย will then check back in with updatesย starting atย 3 p.m. for the late games.

WEEK 5 BYEs:ย Baltimore, Cleveland, Dallas, Miami, St Louis, Washington

The Steelers enter their home game against a stout Titan Defense at far less than 100% asย Big Benย will play despite aย sprained foot but RBย Rashard Mendenhallย seems unlikely to suit up after he was limited in Fridayโ€™s practice. Mendy is a game time decision andย all signs point toย Isaac Redman shouldering the load against the Titans eighth-ranked run defense.

On the WR front, Andre Johnsonย will likely miss the next three weeks which leavesย Jacoby Jonesย and Kevin Walterย as the starters for Week 5 against Oaklandโ€™s 22nd ranked pass defense. Do you think they miss Nnamdi?

Expect a heavy dose of Arian Foster who could easily approach 30 carries again.Vincent Jacksonย returned for Fridayโ€™s practice and things are looking up for him when the Chargers travel to Mile High (4 p.m. kickoff)โ€”make sure you have a backup plan for Jackson considering the late start (GBโ€™s Randall Cobb or DET Titus Young are lower end options with upside that play Sunday and Monday night).
