NFL Predictions Week 5: 3 Teams Sure to Dominate Their Opponents

Michael MillOct 7, 2011

It's difficult to predict winners and losers in a game where any team can step up and perform on any given Sunday.

It's even more difficult to predict the scores to those games.

Unless, of course, those predictions are blowouts.

Here are three teams sure to dominate the opposition this weekend.

San Diego Chargers

If there is such a thing as an easy path to the playoffs, the Chargers have it.

They are in a division with some of the weakest competition in the league. The Denver Broncos face off with the Chargers in an AFC West matchup this weekend.

The Chargers are a talented team. Philip Rivers may not get the same attention as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, but he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

The Chargers should walk all over the Broncos this weekend.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots were early favorites in the AFC this year.

After a loss to the Buffalo Bills, it seems that people have stopped talking about them. However, the Patriots are still the most talented team in the AFC.

This weekend they face off against the division rival New York Jets.

The Jets have no running game and are relying solely on Mark Sanchez to walk away with a victory.

Good luck with that this weekend. The Patriots should walk away with a big win.

New York Giants

The New York giants got off to a rough start this year. A loss against the Washington Redskins in Week 1 and almost everyone jumped off the bandwagon.

They followed it up with some impressive wins and now sit at a 3-1 record despite battling injuries.

The path should be on the easier end this week, when the Seahawks come to visit.

The Seahawks have struggled early and need a big win to turn their season around. It won't come in Week 5.
