Week 6 College Football Picks: How Les Miles Will Keep LSU Undefeated
Les Miles knows how to win college football games.
That won't stop this week.
Although the Florida Gators are coming to Baton Rouge on Saturday, the LSU Tigers shouldn't have any problems.
Miles is the main reason why.
He coaches his team on a weekly basis. Yes, he has tendencies and philosophies, but his strength is his ability to have his team ready for whatever might happen that week. Accordingly, although LSU plays a lot of close games, they usually manage to come out on top.
That's thanks to Miles.
He is a tough-minded coach, and his teams always take on that mentality. As a result, the Tigers are always one of the toughest teams to beat.
Even though Florida is hoping to get a win this week and get back on track, they are going to the wrong place.
In six years at LSU, Miles has only lost six times at Tiger Stadium.
That's a pretty solid record.
The Tigers don't make mistakes and they play very solid football, especially at home. Instead, they force their opponents to make mistakes.
The Gators turned the ball over twice last week, and they will be without quarterback John Brantley this week. That doesn't bode well for the Gators.
Miles will have the Tigers ready to go on Saturday, and they will be ready to feast on any Florida mistakes. Miles knows what he's doing and he will keep the Tigers undefeated this week, all while holding onto that No. 1 ranking.
