NFL Rumors: Terrell Owens Says He's Ready to Return, Will Anyone Want Him?
Perpetually malcontented wide receiver Terrell Owens says he will be ready to play seven months after having ACL surgery. Meaning, he thinks he'll be ready to go within a month. While Owens might be ready to go, don't expect teams to be knocking down his door to get him on the roster.
Owens has had multiple chances to prove he's willing to be a good solider and play without making a fuss. Nevertheless, he has never taken advantage of those situations. While he didn't make any real headlines in during his last two stops in Buffalo and Cincinnati, neither team seemed eager to have him return.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That speaks volumes when considering the talent-level the 37-year-old six-time Pro Bowl receiver possesses.
But now, after a 72-catch, 983-yard season with the Bengals in 2010 during which he scored nine touchdowns, Owens is on the outside looking in at the NFL. When he signed with Buffalo in 2009, they were his only suitor, and the same thing happened with Cincinnati last season.
Despite having a strong 2010 season, it's really hard to see anyone welcoming Owens into the fold, especially at midseason.
He may be a Hall of Famer, and his career numbers are incredibly impressive, but it seemingly appears he is always just one tough game away from disrupting a locker room and dividing a team. He has a penchant for throwing his quarterbacks under the bus and when he doesn't get his way can be one of the more sullen players in NFL history.
Despite the fact that his career numbers—1,078 career receptions (sixth on the all-time list), 15,934 yards (second all-time) and 153 touchdowns (tied for second all-time)—are incredible, I just don't see anyone taking a risk on Owens. He's 37 and coming off major surgery, which will likely make him a shell of his former self.
We may have seen the last of T.O. in the NFL.
