Fantasy Football Week 5: Kendall Hunter and the 3 Best Flex Plays
The flex position is quite possibly the most crucial spot on your fantasy football roster.
Do you start the running back who is splitting carries but catches a good amount of passes or the wide receiver that's got a great matchup against a weak secondary?
For Week 5, here are my best flex plays.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Kendall Hunter
Yes, Kendall Hunter.
He'll receive about 20 percent to 30 percent of the carries. Frank Gore is back from injury, yet Hunter is an ideal flex play this week against the Buccaneers.
They play the Tampa 2, which allows for many dump-offs underneath, especially to running backs.
Hunter rushed nine times for 38 yards and had two catches for 62 yards against the Eagles last week.
Expect the amount of touches he gets to either stay the same or slowly increase.
With a few top running backs on the bye and with what we've seen from him the last few games, Hunter's an ideal flex start.
Darren Sproles
What a steal it was for the Saints' front office to get Sproles in free agency to fill the void left by Reggie Bush at a much cheaper price.
This week's game against the Panthers shouldn't be low-scoring, so expect a lot of possessions for New Orleans and a lot of touches for Sproles.
He had seven carries and five catches last week, and Carolina is currently the 31st-ranked rushing defense in the NFL.
Get him in that flex spot—he's a perfect fit.
Jordy Nelson
Nelson is realistically a decent WR No. 3 option, but if you have a loaded receiving corps, this is a good week to get him into that flex position.
The Falcons secondary is allowing 275 yards through the air—you think Aaron Rodgers won't have a field day?
I do.
Nelson had five catches for 91 yards and continues to be the receiver the defense loses track of during their game plan to stop the rest of Green Bay's weapons.
