WWE: Who's Behind Awesome Truth?

Hello, bleachers. In my last article, you indicated that you are most interested in Awesome Truth and their out-of-control persona.

I began to think who could possibly be behind this team. Who is the driving force behind this group that has single-handedly exposed Triple H as a man who has no control of his company?

I will investigate some possibilities as to who may be behind this team and their actions.

John Laurinaitis

Ever since Triple H has been COO, Laurinaitis has been his right-hand man. Triple H has shown that he does not always agree with Laurinaitis and sometimes gets very angry with him.

I get the impression that Laurinaitis wants to take control of the company. He always seems to be keeping things from Triple H and never fully explains himself. Whether it be with Kevin Nash or CM Punk, Laurinaitis tends to keep Triple H out of the loop.

This could give Laurinaitis a perfect excuse for creating Awesome Truth. He creates a team that helps trigger panic in the WWE ranks. When panic ensues, everyone puts the blame on the man in charge. Once everyone gives up on Triple H, Laurinaitis comes in and rescues the company and gets Triple H removed as COO.

 Is Johnny Ace behind this whole thing?

Kevin Nash

Where has Kevin Nash gone? Ever since his CM Punk involvement, Nash has been absent from WWE programming. Perhaps Nash thought it best to operate from afar and recruited Miz and Truth to do his dirty work.

Nash lets Awesome Truth corrupt the WWE and start a civil war. Nash then returns and gets whatever it is he wants.

CM Punk

Who hates Triple H more than CM Punk?

Punk has been involved with Triple H since he began as COO. Maybe Punk realized that he needs a little help to start the change he wanted. So he recruited two guys who have been pushed back as far as status is concerned. Two guys who would be bitter that they no longer get shots at WWE gold. Miz and Truth fit the bill perfectly.

Punk recruited these two to help prove his point that Triple H is inept at running the WWE. Punk can then get what he wants after he starts his revolution, which results in a "civil war."

Vince McMahon

This one is pretty simple. Vince is angry at the WWE higher-ups for giving up on him. He is also mad that Triple H took his position.

Vince decides that the best revenge is to bring chaos to the WWE. Truth and Miz ruin the WWE, and in an ironic fashion, help the WWE employees give Triple H a vote of no confidence. The exact vote the board of directors gave Vince.

Vince returns, but only after the board begs him to. Vince then returns the WWE to normal and is more powerful than ever.

Outside Chance

These people have a slight chance at being behind Awesome Truth.

Michael Cole

Cole has never really liked Triple, H and when he took over as COO, Cole expressed his hatred even more. Cole loves Miz and was also disgusted at the way he was being treated. Perhaps Cole organized this whole thing?

Anonymous Raw GM

Where has the Raw GM gone? Yes, I know they have seemingly written it off of television, but is this just a ploy? Could the Raw GM be behind this?

Stephanie McMahon

When Triple H took over as COO, Stephanie encouraged CM Punk that everything would work itself out and the right things would be done. Is she angry that she was passed over as next in line for Triple H?

Triple H

Could Triple H be behind this whole thing? Maybe this is a diversion to single out those who will try and capitalize off of his downfalls. This could be a way for Triple H to catch Johnny Ace red-handed as someone who is trying to get rid of him.

Conclusion

These are my theories behind Awesome Truth.
