ESPN Body Issue: Top 9 Bodies We Actually Do Want

In case you weren't aware, the ESPN The Magazine just released its annual Body Issue.  Just kidding, of course you're aware!  Nobody forgets their own birthday, Christmas or Body Issue release day. 

Once again ESPN has delivered 21 of our favorite athletes wear nothing but a smile, or a seriously intense stare.  The photos are all great, but not all athletes in the buff are created equal. 

Here are the top nine bodies in the 2011 Body Issue. 

9. Vera Zvonareva, Tennis Player

Women's tennis player Vera Zvonareva is ranked number four on the WTA Tour.

8. Stephanie Gilmore, Surfer

Stephanie Gilmore is only 23 years old, but she's a four-time world surfing champion.

7. Stephen Jackson, St. Louis Rams

St. Louis Rams running back Stephen Jackson is a three-time Pro Bowler and one of the most intimidating forces in the NFL.

6. Gretchen Bleiler, Snowboarder

Snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler is a four-time X Games gold medalist in superpipe, and an Olympic silver medalist in halfpipe.

5. Hope Solo, U.S. Women's Soccer

Hope Solo is the goalkeeper for U.S. women's national soccer team.  Solo is an Olympic gold medalist and won the Golden Glove at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.

4. Natasha Hastings, Sprinter

Brooklyn, New York native Natasha Hastings is a sprinter; Hastings won the gold medal in the 4x400 m relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

3. Belen Mozo, LPGA

Belen Mozo, age 23, is a rookie on the LPGA and European Tour.  Mozo was also four-time All-America at USC.

L.A. Clippers forward Blake Griffin was the 2010-2011 NBA Rookie of the Year.

1. Alicia Sacramone, Gymnast

Alicia Sacramone is a U.S. gymnast and gold medalist in the vault at the 2010 world championship.  Sacramone and the U.S. women also earned silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
