Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 5: Matt Hasselbeck and 4 Other Players to Add
Week 4 of the NFL season is nearly in the books, which means it's time to start looking ahead to the Week 5 waiver wire for fantasy football help.
Here are five guys you should think about adding:
QB Matt Hasselbeck, Titans (1,152 yards, 8 TDs, 3 INTs)

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Hasselbeck is owned in less than 30 percent of ESPN leagues, which is crazy considering how well he has played without Chris Johnson running wild. Three scores and 220 yards against the Browns cements his status on this list.
He's been better than a lot of quarterbacks that get started every week in fantasy football. Yeah, I'm talking to you Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Kevin Kolb and Josh Freeman. Hasselbeck has outplayed them all.
The sample size is big enough now to have confidence in Hasselbeck. Snatch him while you still can.
RB Stevan Ridley, Patriots (148 yards, 1 TD)
Patriots running backs are always a bit of a risk, but you could argue that New England needs to run the ball as much as they did on Sunday every week. Ridley was the biggest benefactor, as he rushed for 97 yards and a score on 10 carries.
He's still splitting carries with BenJarvus Green-Ellis, but he's worth a bench spot on your roster. Ridley, who is owned in less than 4 percent of ESPN leagues, will see more touches if he continues this kind of early production.
RB Ryan Torain, Redskins (135 yards, 1 TD)
The Mike Shanahan running back wheel spun again on Sunday, and it landed on Torain, who went over 100 yards with a touchdown against the Rams. Granted, St. Louis is one of the worst teams in the NFL against the run, but it's encouraging for the 57 percent of owners who still have Torain that he saw the ball 20 times.
In the other 43 percent of leagues that he's still available, the time to pick him up is now. As long as he's the lead dog for Shanahan, Torain will get the opportunity for big fantasy performances.
WR Victor Cruz, Giants (11 catches, 225 yards, 2 TDs)
He's in the news for his "fumble" against the Cardinals, but he's been productive for the Giants ever since a rash of injuries forced him into action. Cruz caught six passes for 98 yards just one week after going over 100 with two scores.
He's been better than Mario Manningham, and Eli Manning seems to have confidence in him. He's owned in 19.2 percent of ESPN leagues, but that number is sure to go up this week.
TE Jared Cook, Titans (7 catches, 149 yards, 1 TD)
I said it last week, but Cook is the guy that Hasselbeck is going to go to with Kenny Britt out for the season. He showed that on Sunday, as Cook caught an 80-yard touchdown and finished with 93 total yards. If you need a tight end that is going to see the looks, Cook is your man. He's owned in just 3.6 percent of ESPN leagues right now.
