2011 NFL Fantasy Football Week 5: Top Flex Play Rankings and Projections
Arian Foster vs Raiders
Just in case you forgot why Arian Foster should be the feature back in Houston, he reminded us that he’s the best fantasy back in the land after a 155-yard performance, and a 42-yard game-winning touchdown run against the Steelers. Sure, Pittsburgh is not the same run stuff force we have come to know, but to see Foster (and his offensive line) dominate, was a thing of beauty. While Darren McFadden is a great running back, I have Foster moved up to the number one flex play option on our week five list of the top 75 players to start.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Julio Jones vs Packers
Back to back 100-yard games for rookie Julio Jones makes him a must start WR-3 option going forward as the Falcons will continue to throw the football. Atlanta’s pass defense is pathetic and if Tavaris Jackson can throw for over 300 yards against this group, what will Aaron Rodgers do to them? Expect Matt Ryan to throw 50 plus times in this one, and Jones makes for a good bet to post his third-straight 100-yard game.
Eric Decker vs Chargers
A two touchdown performance at Lambeau field, was in large part because the Broncos were forced to throw playing from behind. Eric Decker not only continues to start, but his ten targets on the day should let you know that he’s an active part of this team's passing attack and is a WR-3 play going forward.
Thomas Jones @ Colts
I know it’s trendy to right-off Thomas Jones in fantasy circles, but he does face the Colts defense this week as Kansas City is fresh off a win against the Vikings. Sure, Jones won’t have a good yard per carry average this year, but he should be the starting tailback to begin this game, and has a chance to help your squad if you’re in need of help in deep leagues.
