Colts vs. Buccaneers: 4 Second-Half Adjustments Tampa Bay Should Make
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trail the Indianapolis Colts at halftime 7-10.
The Bucs have almost 100 yards more than the Colts offense, yet they have only found the end zone once.
They have been known to be a slow starting team, so there are a few things they need to do to come back and win in the second half.
Get Mike Williams the Ball
1 of 4Mike Williams is a talented receiver who can make plays for this team. He had 11 touchdowns in his rookie season with Tampa and needs to continue that trend this year.
Josh Freeman went to him often in 2010, and it paid off. Get Williams the ball, and watch him go.
Pressure Curtis Painter
2 of 4The Bucs only have one sack so far and no interceptions. They have gotten to Painter a few times in the backfield, but they are going to have to put more pressure on him.
The more pressure they can put on Painter, the greater chance he will turn it over.
Feed LeGarrette Blount
3 of 4LeGarrette Blount has to get involved more as well. He only has eight carries so far in the game for 32 yards.
Blount is a powerful runner, and they can use him to help set up an easier passing game for Freeman.
Let Josh Freeman Take over
4 of 4Josh Freeman is known to be a slow starter. He completed 17 of 24 passes in the first half but hasn't thrown any touchdowns yet.
Freeman led the team to victory in the second half several times last season, so they will need him to create the same type of magic this time around.
