NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles and 2 Teams That Are Free-Falling
The following teams were believed to have a legitimate shot at the Lombardi Trophy this preseason, but they now have just as good of a chance to snag Andrew Luck. After assuming they’d finish the regular season as division champions, they’d all settle for a wild-card berth. Here are three teams that will plummet in the power rankings after losses in Week 4:
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys could easily be 4-0 right now, but they’re 2-2 after two choke jobs by Tony Romo. A blown fourth-quarter lead against the New York Jets in Week 1 was forgotten after Romo heroically led Dallas to back-to-back victories after breaking a rib that punctured his lung. His heroics were then forgotten after failing to hold a 24-point second-half lead against the Detroit Lions.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Their season isn’t over, but they can’t afford yet another letdown. Mentally, it’s extremely difficult to keep pressing on after two nightmare collapses.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Age has finally caught up to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their once elite run defense was ranked 23rd in the NFL going into Sunday night.
On Sunday, Arian Foster rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown against Pittsburgh’s Steel Curtain. Such numbers against the Steelers have been unheard of over the past decade. With the combination of an old defense and a stale offense, the Steelers find themselves tied in the standings with the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.
They are no longer among the AFC elite.
Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia’s Dream Team is so much better than the 1992 USA Basketball’s squad.
The Philadelphia Eagles are a mess. Like the Miami Heat after their huge offseason, the Eagles have stumbled out of the starting blocks. No one expected Philly to start 1-3, but that’s exactly what they’ve done.
Michael Vick is falling apart and their defense is ranked 30th in run defense. Philadelphia has a long way to go before fulfilling those Super Bowl expectations, if they even make the playoffs.
