Detroit Lions: Calvin Johnson, Matt Stafford Will Deliver Motown to Postseason
The last time Detroit had this much attention across the NFL landscape Barry Sanders was chasing a 2,000-yard season. Even then the team wasn't much good.
My how things have changed. As much as Jim Schwartz deserves credit, the key component in the Lions resurgence is the killer connection of Matt Stafford and Megatron, Calvin Johnson. In fact, the duo has been so deadly, I believe they need a collective nickname.
How about Rocket and Megatron...no? No worries we'll keep working on it. Meanwhile, Johnson and Stafford have transformed the Lions from a joke to one of only two unbeaten teams remaining in the NFL.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Lions are joined by the Green Bay Packers, their Central Division rivals atop the unbeaten heap. The young Lions mus now prepare as they will now have to play with the target on their backs. They can ask the Philadelphia Eagles what type of pressure that brings.
Next week, the Lions play their second division game. This time they'll face the Chicago Bears. They will be at home and it'll be loud. The Bears have had severe difficulties protecting the QB but they ran the ball effectively Sunday en route to a victory over the Panthers.
The Bears have had issues with Detroit recently, though they've been able to escape with wins. Most significantly last year in Week 1, when Johnson had seemingly caught the game-winning TD to beat the Bears. It was waved off.
The Lions are absolutely for real and their explosive passing combo makes them dangerous and never out of a game. As long as Stafford and Johnson both stay healthy, they will march into the playoffs.
