Tim Tebow: Broncos Turning Former Heisman Winner's Career into Farce
The chants for Tim Tebow to enter a game feel less like a cry for a backup QB and more like the chant for Chicago Bulls bench warmer Brian Scalabrine. This is not what Tebow's career was supposed to be.
Tebow had one of the greatest collegiate careers in history and we all know that doesn't mean anything when it comes to Sundays, but he hasn't really been given a chance.
We've heard references to the "Tebow" package, well it may as well not exist because John Fox has been reluctant to utilize it or Tebow. He is in a tough situation, Tebow isn't his guy and he doesn't believe in him. He shouldn't have his fate dictated by a QB who isn't the guy to run his system.

That said, Tebow is left to sit on the sidelines and rot. He is becoming a joke and this latest-minute bit of playing time was the most telling sign.
Fox brings him in briefly to run "the package" but he is of course, ineffective. The game gets out of hand, he could have brought him in late to get some work but he didn't.
The time has come, something must be done to save his career and confidence. He is an extremely strong-willed and determined athlete but even he must be growing tired of this.
Tebow just turned 24, this season and the hopes that he'll gain significant playing time are lost. By the beginning of next year, Tebow will be 25 and has yet to gain the type of playing time he needs to develop.
That means that even if he's traded, it'll likely be two years before he could be anything close to a winning QB. Up to this point, he has stuck to his guns about playing QB but the time may be drawing near where he has to say, maybe H-back or tight end isn't so bad after all.
Throw some wildcat in there, maybe he could take the Kordell Stewart route. Either way, he better get going, time is ticking.
